The Museum of Space Exploration first opened its doors as a Millennial Project in the year 3000. It is dedicated to exploration to the furthest reaches of the currently known galaxies, retrieving artefacts and information, and ensuring that they are preserved for the interests of all. Its mission also includes presenting and re-presenting its collections to the public as well as hosting inter-museum loans and lending to other institutions for similar purposes. Its research and technical capabilities continue to be updated by recruiting human, post human and friendly others to its mission.
